This is always a family favorite while traveling. We are always greeted with smiling faces. The have a huge selection on their kids' menu. The salad bar is nice, the food is fast and fresh.
Two eggs, sausage, hash browns, coffee hot enough to slap me awake, and a biscuit that should be illegal. Stacey ran our section—fast, sharp, zero fluff. If you sit in her section, you’re in good hands. If not, switch tables. Next to me, someone ordered the salmon sandwich. I didn’t taste it, but I still think about it. Might go back just to stare at it again. If you’re hungover, heartbroken, or just human—this is your spot. Can not miss.
Whoa... This is a great place. The hostess was fast and kind. The server was top notch. (She was from MO). The kitchen staff were lightening fast. The "Famous" fried chicken and the stew made it over the top. Just perfectly delicious. This was a great stop and we will make sure to return the next time we are in town. They offer a salad bar for 3.99 or soup for 2.99. They have a daily special, today was mear loaf with gravy, it is served with 2 sides. I got mashed potato’s and gravy and black eye beans. and cheese wife for the all you can eat salad. They served mini corn bread muffins as soon as you arrived. with your meal. I had the NY strip with quail which was delicious. My wife had the chicken and dumplings that she said was great. Her candied yams were amazing. This is always a good place to eat. Their breakfasts are just as good. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Very clean restaurant.
A great stop along I-75 Exit 5. Used to walk there from the Roost but now we stop for lunch. We call this our B OP (Us) aka Bubbas and Old People stop. Love the Chicken Livers and Peach Cobbler. Our Server, Kayce is best.
